ChartAccess® EMR is a web-based software application that provides clinicians with a complete view of patients and their data to support optimal and safe patient care.
ChartAccess can be hosted by Prognosis,
behind an organization’s firewall, or a third-party application service provider. Installation is seamless and the system can be accessed via a web browser, negating the need for software. ChartAccess utilizes a SQL Server database and accepts third-party plug-in databases for clinical content and reference information such as clinical practice guidelines, consent forms, drug and formulary information, and reimbursement rules.
ChartAccess uses HL7 and XML standards to integrate with billing, laboratory, picture archiving, radiology, and other information systems. When integrated with such systems, the ChartAccess database serves as a clinical data repository for essentially all clinical information.
Because of this advanced technology, the system can be:

the system on every workstation
• Easily upgraded from a central location
• Utilized from any location (home, office, hospital) and accessed via any device
