PHIS, behind your firewall, or a third-party application service provider. Installation is seamless. No client software is needed besides a current, standard operating system and web-browser.
ChartAccess utilizes a SQL Server database and accepts third-party plug-in databases for clinical content and reference information such as clinical practice guidelines, consent forms, drug and formulary information, and reimbursement rules.
ChartAccess uses HL7 and XML standards to integrate with billing, laboratory, picture archiving, radiology, and other information systems. When properly integrated with such systems, the
ChartAccess database serves as a clinical data repository for essentially all clinical information except radiology images and video which are best stored using PACS.
ChartAccess includes a radiology viewer to display PACS images and video without the need to launch a separate application or viewer.
ChartAccess replaces the paper medical record in hospitals, health care facilities, and health systems.
